PRINCIPAL INVESTIGATORDr. Miguel Anaya

Dr. Anaya got his PhD in 2018 under the supervision of Prof. Míguez, pioneering the understanding and design of light–matter interactions in halide perovskite–based devices. He continued his research career at the Cavendish Laboratory under Prof. Stranks and later at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, University of Cambridge, as a Royal Academy of Engineering Research Fellow. He returned to Spain in 2023 as a Ramón y Cajal Fellow at the Institute of Materials Science of Seville, where he leads the Semiconductor Materials for Sustainability Laboratory (SMSLab). His current research focuses on developing and implementing advanced characterisation techniques that enable visualisation and monitoring at the nanoscale of the fundamental processes governing device operation under working conditions.
