Sol is a Physicist and Science Engineer by training, currently pursuing a PhD in Science and Technology of New Materials at the University of Seville. In the SMSLab, she is responsible for multiple tasks: co-managing the laboratory, conducting radioluminescence measurements, and performing X-ray measurements using synchrotron radiation.

For her PhD research, she is investigating the structural and optoelectronic properties of vacancy-ordered perovskites, with the goal of developing highly stable, high- entropy perovskites for radiation detection.
