A physicist by training, Jaime is currently a PhD student at the ICMM (CSIC) in Madrid, specialising in Materials Science and Nanotechnology.
Within the SMSLab, he focuses on theoretical modelling and numerical simulations, with a particular interest in light–matter interaction in optoelectronic devices.
Jaime’s work involves FDTD simulations to explore advanced nanophotonic strategies aimed at enhancing the performance of perovskite solar cells and LEDs. In the coming years, he will investigate the use of Artificial Intelligence to streamline device design and optimisation.
