POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHERDr. Susana Ramos Terrón

Susana completed her BS in Environmental Sciences at the Universidad Pablo de Olavide and was awarded a Youth Guarantee research contract to perform impedance spectroscopy analysis of perovskite solar cells. She obtained her MSc in Science and Technology of New Materials at the Universidad de Sevilla and her PhD in Fine Chemistry at the Universidad de Córdoba with an FPU fellowship, focused on strategies to improve the performance and stability of halide perovskites solar cells. During her PhD, she carried out a research stay at the Energy Materials Lab of Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), studying the interface in low-dimensional/three-dimensional perovskite systems for solar cells. Her doctoral work received the Extraordinary Doctoral Award from the Universidad de Córdoba and three Best Thesis Prizes from RSEQ specialized groups. She is now a Juan de la Cierva Fellow at the SMSLab, dedicated to synchrotron-based characterization of new perovskite materials.
